About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience, solid understanding of AR/AP processes, and a proactive mindset. Your primary focus will be Accounts Receivable reconciliation, especially related to online sales and payment discrepancies, while also supporting Accounts Payable reconciliations, postings, and clearing activities.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring accounting accuracy and operational efficiency — and we value a “can-do” attitude above all.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (primary focus):
- Reconcile AR balances and transactions, especially for online sales channels (e-commerce, marketplaces, payment gateways)
- Issue sales invoices for discounts and corporate sales
- Investigate and resolve payment allocation errors, mismatches, or duplicates
- Reconcile customer payments with invoices and delivery confirmations, send dunning letters, and maintain relation with customers.
- Maintain the communication with OIG stores for order closing process and sales closing
- Analyze and monitor insurance policy usage for specific customer segments (e.g., medical/optical insurance claims)
- Perform balance confirmations and manage customer correspondence for open balances
- Accounts Payable (supporting role):
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely posting/clearing of AP transactions
- Support invoice validation and PO matching processes
- Handle supplier inquiries, credit notes, and balance confirmations
- General:
- Support monthly closing tasks and reconciliations
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Ops, E-commerce, and Store teams to resolve transaction gaps
- Maintain clear and organized audit trails for AR/AP entries and reconciliations
- Participate in process improvement and digitalization initiatives
Main Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting (retail, e-commerce, or healthcare sectors a plus)
- Strong knowledge of AR/AP reconciliation practices
- Experience with online order/payment matching (e.g., card payments, refunds, partial payments)
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, reconciliation models)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Charisma or similar is a plus)
- Accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Professional working knowledge of English
